Research Philosophy & Developmental Pathway

Our Company's Research Database

Krafted Supplements was founded on the premise that most supplements fail not because the biology is wrong, but because the science, sourcing, and manufacturing standards are insufficient. Our approach begins where traditional supplement companies stop: at clinical rationale, pharmacology, and regulatory foresight.

We source and formulate ingredients based on mechanistic evidence, historical clinical use, and dose-response validity, not trends or marketing narratives. Every compound we work with is evaluated through the same lens used in pharmaceutical development: biological plausibility, safety margins, reproducibility, and scalability.

From Supplements to Investigational Drugs

While many of our products are currently offered as dietary supplements, we are not a supplement-only company.

In parallel, we are advancing a proprietary, naturally derived compound through a formal FDA pathway, beginning with Pre-IND engagement and progressing toward IND, NDA, and eventual clinical use. This program is being developed quietly and deliberately, with full awareness of regulatory boundaries, manufacturing controls, and future trial design requirements.

This dual-track model allows us to:

  • Offer rigorously vetted supplements today
  • Build the scientific, manufacturing, and regulatory infrastructure required for tomorrow’s therapeutics

Ingredient Sourcing & Quality Methodology

Our sourcing standards are intentionally conservative and aligned with drug-development expectations:

  • U.S.-based or fully auditable suppliers whenever possible
  • Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for every lot
  • Mandatory testing for contaminants (heavy metals, pesticides, aflatoxins, microbials)
  • Ingredient identity confirmation via macroscopic/microscopic analysis and, where applicable, DNA barcoding
  • Documentation aligned with GACP and cGMP principles, not just minimum supplement compliance

We prioritize single-ingredient traceability and reject opaque blends, overseas shortcuts, and unverifiable potency claims. If an ingredient cannot be validated at a pharmaceutical level, we do not use it.
